Sie entstehen durch oft irreversible Prozesse und tragen wesentlich zur Krankheitslast bei. Dazu z\u00e4hlen insbesondere <strong>nicht\u00fcbertragbare Krankheiten (NCDs)<\/strong> wie Herz-Kreislauf-Erkrankungen, Krebs oder Diabetes. Diese verursachen weltweit einen Gro\u00dfteil der Todesf\u00e4lle (ca. 75 %) und beeintr\u00e4chtigen stark Lebensqualit\u00e4t und Lebenserwartung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein wichtiger Aspekt ist die <strong>Multimorbidit\u00e4t<\/strong>, also das gleichzeitige Auftreten mehrerer chronischer Erkrankungen. Sie nimmt mit dem Alter zu, betrifft aber auch j\u00fcngere Menschen und erschwert die Behandlung, etwa durch Polypharmazie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Begriff <strong>Behinderung<\/strong> hat sich im Laufe der Zeit ver\u00e4ndert:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fr\u00fcher unterschied die WHO zwischen <em>Sch\u00e4digung (Impairment)<\/em>, <em>Beeintr\u00e4chtigung (Disability)<\/em> und <em>Behinderung (Handicap)<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heute steht mit der ICF (2001) ein biopsychosoziales Modell im Vordergrund, das neben k\u00f6rperlichen Funktionen auch Aktivit\u00e4ten, Teilhabe und Umweltfaktoren ber\u00fccksichtigt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Die UN-Behindertenrechtskonvention betont, dass Behinderung aus dem Zusammenspiel von individuellen Beeintr\u00e4chtigungen und gesellschaftlichen Barrieren entsteht.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Menschen mit Behinderungen bilden eine sehr heterogene Gruppe mit unterschiedlichen Bed\u00fcrfnissen, was in Forschung und Praxis oft noch unzureichend ber\u00fccksichtigt wird. In Deutschland ist Behinderung auch rechtlich relevant: Ab einem Grad der Behinderung von 50 gilt man als schwerbehindert und hat Anspruch auf bestimmte Unterst\u00fctzungsleistungen. Abschlie\u00dfend wird deutlich, dass Menschen mit Behinderungen h\u00e4ufig mit Versorgungsdefiziten und Ungleichheiten konfrontiert sind (z.
